2 system cooling tune up. Found downstairs system significantly low on refrigerant. Sent over estimates for replacement refrigerant and options for equipment replacement. If you want to move forward with recharging the system, let me know and I will come add refrigerant for a temporary solution with no guarantee or estimate of how long the charge will last before the system stops cooling. It has been recharged several times previously and doesn’t seem to last long, according to the history from Morrison.
Found condenser coil extremely dirty cleaned condenser coil and still had a low temperature differential of 15 degrees instead of 20 degrees. Put on gauges and found that system was low on refrigerant. Could not pinpoint where leak was at customer understood that adding refrigerant wasn’t a true fix but he wanted to give it a try to make it through another year. System holds 6lbs 11oz I put in 3lbs which is half the refrigerant charge. Don’t advise to add refrigerant again due to amount lost.
